Match Day 3 Recap - SEMIFINALS SECURED! The Dragons 08 earned a 3-1 victory over the NJ Stallions Boca 08 today. Morgan Pelletier led the way with two (2) first half goals, and Sawyer Valle added a second half tally to secure the win. Derek Hall and the entire defense continued to play outstanding, allowing no more than one goal in any group stage game.
The Dragons 08 will face United Elite Soccer Inc White 2008 (MD) in the 2:30 PM semifinal at The Proving Grounds (Field 6). Best of luck to the team as the play to secure a spot in the National Championship!

The
Dragons 08 earned. 4-2 victory over United Elite Soccer Inc White 2008 (MD) in the Eastern Region Presidents Cup Semifinals today. Cameron Paris scores two (2) goals, while Morgan Pelletier and Anthony Marker each found the back of the net too. The defense held a very talented United offense in check, allowing one goal in each half.
The win secured the team a spot in Tuesday’s Final and earns them a spot in the USYS Presidents Cup National Championship. Well done! The Dragons 08 will face the Naugatuck Youth Soccer Naugatuck Boys 2008 (CT) in a match day 1 rematch in the final on Tuesday, June 20th at 11:45 AM. March will be played at The Proving Ground- Field 4. Congrats to players, coaches, and supporters on an outstanding accomplishment.
